News: Que Sera Debut New Music Video on Substream Magazine

Written by Mike Hogan

The New England post hardcore scene has been the stuff of legend for more than a decade now. There are so many bands that came out of that frozen wasteland that helped define the wildly diverse and complex genre. Bands like The Receiving End of Sirens added the refinement while bands like Therefore I Am gave it a gritty, authentically Boston tone. This scene may not be as instantly recognizable as the emo/pop punk scene that came out of New Jersey and Long Island in the early 2000’s, but it holds just as significant place in the history of modern alternative music.

Unfortunately, the sound is hurting. It’s far from where it was in its heyday, but the bright side to this is the bands that still exist, the ones that are trudging away largely in the underground are pushing the genre well beyond what anyone thought possible. And one of these bands is Que Sera of Rhode Island. Not only are they fiercely dedicated to their sound and where they came from, but they are helping pave the way for a new generation of post-hardcore, wherever that sound may end up.
And they have just released a new music video through Substream Magazine that showcases not only their next level talent, but the passion that goes behind everything they do. Head over to Substream now to check out Que Sera’s video for “Marionette Limbs”, and catch Que Sera on tour this spring with The Venetia Fair.
